There are three options available for configuring the Categorize Plus Toolbar
menus. These options are shown in the illustration below.
Please refer to the Categorize Plus Options help
topic to learn how to open the Categorize Plus Options dialog. After
opening the dialog, then select the Toolbar Menus Tab to display the options
page that is explained in this help topic. Note: All of the options explained on this page are
only available in the Professional version of Categorize Plus. Please
refer to Feature Comparison for a complete
list of features available in each version of Categorize Plus. Options available for Categorize Plus Toolbar
Menus Note: When Categorize Plus is installed in Outlook 2007, then
there is also an option to "Create a separate tab in Contact, Task and Journal
Items". Selecting this option will force Outlook to create a separate
tab in the Ribbon Bar for Contact, Task and Journal Items that contains the
Categorize Plus Menu Group. This option is required to display the
Categorize Plus Menu in items that are created using the Microsoft Business
Contact Manager add-in. Since the Business Contact Manager add-in
creates its own unique Ribbon Bar from scratch, the only way to display the
Categorize Plus Menu in these items is to add a separate tab.
Install
Toolbar Menus provides three options for installing either the Categorize
Menu, the Filter
Menu or the Search Menu in the Categorize Plus
Toolbar. Selecting or deselecting any of these menu options will
either add or remove the associated Menu. In addition, the user can also
select the type of search engine to use with the Categorize Plus Search
Menu. Please refer to the Search Engines help topic
for further information.
Install Toolbars Inside Outlook Items provides several
options for automatically installing the Categorize Plus Toolbar inside
Outlook items when these items are opened using Outlook. By selecting
these options, the user can choose which type of Outlook items to install or
not install the Categorize Plus Toolbar. For information regarding the
Categorize Plus toolbar that is installed inside Outlook items, then please
refer to the Categorize Plus in Outlook
Items help topic.
Selecting the Auto Expand Menus
option will automatically re-expand the toolbar menus after a menu item
is selected from the Menu Hierarchy. Enabling this
option will reduce the number of keystrokes required especially when
using keyboard accelerators to select menu items from either the Categorize
Menu, the Filter
Menu or the Search Menu. For more information on
using keyboard accelerators with Categorize Plus menus, then please refer to
the Entering Menu
Captions help topic.
