There last tab in the Categorize Plus Options dialog is the Other Settings
options page. This options page is shown in the
illustration below. Please refer to the Categorize Plus Options help
topic to learn how to open the Categorize Plus Options dialog. After
opening the dialog, then select the Other Settings Tab to display the options
page that is explained in this help topic. Note: The option for Install Context
Menu is only available when using Outlook 2007
and is not available when using previous versions of Outlook. Other Settings for Configuring Categorize
Plus
Selecting
the Mark as Read option will configure Categorize Plus to automatically mark
Outlook items as read after Categorize Plus is used to categorize Outlook
items. For more information on using Categorize Plus to categorize
Outlook items, then please refer to the Categorize Outlook
Items help topic. This option applies to all versions of
Categorize Plus including the Free, Lite, Standard and Professional.
Append or Replace with "Shift" Key provides two
options for configuring the default behavior when Categorize Plus is used to
categorize Outlook items. The first option configures the default
behavior to append categories to the existing Outlook item categories,
and pressing the "Shift" key will modify the behavior to
replace the existing categories. The second option
configures the default behavior to replace the existing Outlook item
categories, and pressing the "Shift key will modify the behavior to append the
categories. For more information on using Categorize Plus to categorize
Outlook items, then please refer to the Categorize Outlook
Items help topic. This option is only available in the
Professional version of Categorize Plus.
Selecting the Fluent Ribbon Compatibility
option will configure Categorize Plus to warn when more than five menu
levels are exceeded in the Categorize Plus Menu Hierarchy. This option is
added because the Fluent Ribbons used in Outlook 2007 are limited to
only five levels of nested sub-menus. Therefore, to ensure compatibility
with the Fluent Ribbon menus that are used in Outlook 2007, when this option
is enabled, then Categorize Plus will display a warning message whenever five
menu levels are exceeded when using the Menu Builder to Add
Menu Items. For more information regarding the Fluent Ribbon that is
used in Outlook 2007, then please refer to the Categorize Plus in Outlook
Items and the Outlook 2007 Items help
topics. This option is only available in the Professional version of
Categorize Plus.
Install Context Menu provides two options for
configuring the context menu that is displayed whenever users 'right click' on
Outlook items in Outlook 2007. Selecting the first option will install
the Categorize Plus Categorize Menu inside the context menu whenever the
context menu is displayed. The second option will remove the default
Outlook Categorize menu that is normally displayed in the context menu.
This option is only available when using Outlook 2007 and the Professional
version of Categorize Plus.
