Group
Filters and Searches display different options in the toolbar combo box
drop down list than non-group filters and searches. For information
regarding the drop down list options for non-group filter and search combo
boxes, then please refer to the Modify Filter and
Search Combo Boxes help topic. Since a group Menu Item represents a group of other child Menu Items,
the first three options included in the drop down list are All, No
and Any. Selecting All will only display items that contain all of
the child items in the group. Selecting No will only display items that do not contain
any of the child items in the group. Selecting Any will display items that contain any of the
child items in the group. The default option is Any. The fourth list option is Remove. This option removes the selected combo box
from the toolbar and will also remove the associated filter or search criteria
from the Outlook view. Finally, the Expand
List option will add to the drop down list all of the Menu Items that
are children of the group Menu Item associated with the combo box. This
allows the user to quickly change the Menu Item associated with the combo box to
one of the children Menu Items. Example of a Group Filter Drop Down
