Similar to Outlook folders, Categorize Plus menus can be organized into a
hierarchy. In addition, while Outlook folders are limited to placing each
Outlook item into a single folder, Categorize Plus will categorize, filter and
search Outlook items based on many different combinations of the menu
hierarchy. For example, if a single Outlook item deals with multiple
subjects that span more than one folder, Categorize Plus can categorize the item
with multiple categories and then arrange these categories into a menu
hierarchy. This menu hierarchy can then be used to filter and
search Outlook views allowing the user to view the information in a variety
of ways. This provides maximum flexibility when categorizing and
organizing information within Outlook. Menu Hierarchical Structures
There are two basic hierarchical structures that are used when designing
the menu hierarchy. Each structure produces different results when
selecting Categorize Plus Menu Items from the Categorize
Menu, the Filter
Menu and the Search Menu. Please refer to the
following help topics for additional information. To learn more regarding Menu Items and how they are used in Categorize
Plus, then please refer to the Menu Items help topic.
