that result in differences in how Categorize Pus is implemented in both
versions. These differences are also highlighted in the explanations
below. The following two illustrations show the toolbar as it appears in
Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003. Categorize Plus Toolbar: Outlook 2007: Outlook 2003:

- Color Categories
The capability to assign colors to categories is a new feature introduced in Microsoft Outlook 2007. Therefore, when using Outlook 2007, Categorize Plus adds additional tools that are used for assigning colors to Categorize Plus Menu Items. These new color icons are also displayed in the Categorize Menu, the Filter Menu and the Search Menu. Again, the capability to assign color categories to Menu Items is only available when using Outlook 2007 and is not available when using previous versions of Outlook.
- Instant Search
Another new feature introduced in Microsoft Outlook 2007 is known as Instant Search. To complement this new feature, Categorize Plus adds the Search Menu and Search Combo Boxes that make use of Instant Search to search for Outlook items. If you are using Outlook 2007 and wish to learn more regarding how Instant Search is used in Outlook, then click here to open a Microsoft Outlook help topic that explains how to find messages using Instant Search.
Alternative Search Engines
In addition to the Outlook Instant Search, Categorize Plus is also compatible with two other search engines including the Taglocity search engine and the Lookeen search engine.
