Categorize Plus Reference 
Category Combo Boxes

Category Combo Boxes are added to the Categorize Plus Toolbar by selecting Category Tag Menu Items from the Categorize Menu.  For more information on how to create Category Tag Menu Items and add them to the Categorize Menu, then please refer to the Building Menus help topic.  For more information on how to add Category Combo Boxes to the toolbar, then please refer to the Add Category Combo Boxes help topic.

Identifying Category Combo Boxes

Category Combo Boxes in the Categorize Plus Toolbar are identified by the Remove Category Combo Boxes command button.  Combo boxes just to the right of this command button are Category Combo Boxes.  Examples of this button are shown in the illustrations below.  Please note that the icon used by Categorize Plus to designate this button is different in Outlook 2003 verses Outlook 2007.  This difference is also illustrated below.  Please refer to the Remove Category Combo Boxes help topic for further information regarding the Remove Category Combo Boxes command button.

Using Category Combo Boxes

Category Combo Boxes are primarily used to either categorize Outlook items or to remove or replace categories that are already assigned to Outlook items.  For explanations regarding these uses, then please refer to the additional help topics listed below.  Category Combo Boxes can also be converted to Category Filter combo boxes or Category Search combo boxes by selecting either the Add Categories to Filter or Add Categories to Search commands from the Categorize Menu.  Please refer to the Categorize Menu help topic for an illustration that shows the location of these commands.
