When Categorize Plus is installed, the default setting is to NOT allow
duplicate Filter Combo
Boxes and to NOT allow duplicate Search Combo Boxes. Sometimes
though it helps to allow duplicate combo boxes when constructing complex filter
and search criteria. The example below illustrates one instance when a
duplicate combo box is useful. The precedence for joining the logical
operators of different filter and search combo boxes is such that AND logical operations are performed before
OR logical operations. Therefore,
the filter criteria constructed in the example below could not have been
constructed without the use of a duplicate Packaging combo box. To learn more regarding the
precedence of logical operators and how to re-position a combo box that is
displayed in the toolbar, then please refer to the Precedence
of Logical Operators help topic. Duplicate combo boxes can be enable independently for both Filter Combo Boxes
and Search Combo Boxes. This is done by selecting either the Allow Duplicate Filter Boxes or Allow
Duplicate Search Boxes command from the respective Filter or Search
Menu. The location of each of these commands is illustrated in the Filter Menu and Search Menu help
topics. In addition, the location of the Allow Duplicate
Filter Boxes is also shown in the illustration below. Note: Search Combo Boxes are only available when
using Outlook 2007 and are not available when using previous versions of
Outlook. Example for using Duplicate Filter Combo
