The Categorize Menu contains Category Tag Menu Items that are created using the Menu Builder. The
Categorize Menu also provides three sub-menus including a Tools menu that contains a list of optional tools that are
used for categorizing Outlook items, a Recent
Categories menu that contains a list of recent Category Combo Boxes that have
been added to the Categorize Plus Toolbar, and a Recent Categorizations menu that contains a list of recent
categories that have been used to Categorize Outlook
Items. For information on how to create Category Tag Menu Items and
add them to the Categorize Menu, then please refer to the Building Menus
help topic. Configuring the Categorize Menu using the
"Add Categories to the Toolbar" Option There are two options for configuring the behavior of the Categorize
Menu. The Categorize Menu can be configured to either add Category Combo
Boxes to the Categorize Plus Toolbar or it can be configured to categorize
selected Outlook items directly. Below are two illustrations that
display the different configurations of the Categorize Menu. These
illustrations also show the location of the Add Categories
to the Toolbar command that is used to either enable or disable the
option to add categories to the toolbar. When the option is enabled, then each time a Category Tag is selected in
the Categorize Menu, then the associated Category Combo Box is added
to the Categorize Plus Toolbar. Once Category Combo Boxes are added to
the toolbar, then these combo boxes can be used to perform various
operations. Please refer to the Category Combo Boxes help topic
to learn how Category Combo Boxes are used in Categorize Plus. If the
option to Add Categories to the Toolbar is not
enabled, then the currently selected Outlook items will be categorized
immediately after selecting a Category Tag from the Categorize Menu.

items. Furthermore, when Add Categories to the
Toolbar is enabled, then additional menu options will also appear
in the Categorize Menu as shown in the first illustration below. The
second illustration shows the available menu options when Add Categories to the Toolbar is
